You do your own stitches? Ive heard of it, but never wanted to try. You know they don't give stitches at the doctors anymore? You now have to go to the ER.
Only if you’re bleeding to death, otherwise you get a butterfly bandage, etc.

I have skin glue, butterfly closures, dissolvable, nylon, monofilament and silk sutures in 3-4 needle sizes.
Unless it’s arterial bleeding, I have the stuff to clean and sew.

Oh yes. Evidenced today by the grilled cheese. She also liquefied the cheese on that thing.

that cheese was extra liquifiable! I’ve never had cheese melt that much even when burnt also that wasn’t that burnt! Just. A little crispy

I guess we just didn’t get those sorts of “practical gifts” as kids, so it seems super weird to me but normal to other people

Hover boards are the devil.
I don’t trust technology to NOT let me face plant. Jump on hoverboard, and attempt to move forward. Evidently my unease is compounded through sensors. I had to have looked like one of those dipping birds ornaments, except 1000x faster. Forward, stop, back, stop. Did 10 thousand crunches in about fifteen seconds.
Decide that I had enough, and attempted to jump off. Software anticipates my moves and stays under my feet.
I had to, less than gracefully, dive off the side.

It was hilarious. For everyone else.

I don't know what contract means.

Cell phone contracts are usually two years. Mine was up a few months ago.

You buy your phone, but you're locked into that carrier for two years. If you change carriers, you get penalized. You can upgrade your phone before that time, but it costs more. You get discounts on a new phone after the two year contract ends.

You explained it much better than I could have they also give you money off for trading in the old phone but I don’t usually do that cause I’m paranoid about cloud and that and want the physical pictures in case.

We used to have verizon, sprint, at&t, boost, ummm I think thats it. They were all terrible: service, billing, terms, etc. We found TMobile and were on the pay as you go plans for a long time, but recently switched to the Military Magenta plan. Saves us about $40/mo. Unlimited data, calls, texts with the Magenta plan. Never had any notable issues.
