It's not Raw when I buy it?

It is uncooked. It is cured and often smoked but it is not raw. Raw "bacon" is fresh side which looks like bacon but has not been cured or smoked. It also will not taste like bacon.

I smoke my own bacon, unfortunately I sometimes don’t watch it close enough and it gets cooked.

Btw the snow has accumulated a lot more since my last post a couple hours ago

We have a lot of very light stuff. It blows around all over the place because it's fluffy and dry, but I'd estimate that we have about 8 inches to a foot.
And the best part? It's still coming.

It's already up to 40°F here after a low of 23°F at 4:45 AM. Of course the wind is howling but at least the sun is shining. No snow.

True.

You do have to watch for the "brown snow" out there though. 10x worse than the yellow snow.
