Unfortunately too many don't live to walk away. I have been to funerals.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your point of view. I just think life is more to be experienced than to be controlled. I do believe our time here is predetermined and nothing we do can change that. We take care of our family and do what we can for our friends while we are here. Every minute we have here is a gift but we have no idea how big our gift will be. And the same for those in our lives.
You can do everything right and die young, you can do everything wrong and die old. We have some control but very little.
Again... you aren't wrong, I just have to some degree a different opinion.
I had 2 cats. One was a tuxedo lap cat and the other was not, her name was jazz. Angel (lap cat ) was perfectly happy sitting on your lap for hours. Jazz wanted to be outside and free. I could keep jazz locked indoors but it was like looking at a caged lion. I let her live her life. We all have to carve our own paths.

Freddy and Sarge are from my White Leghorn and of course Jack was a Lavender Orpington. Sarge ended up splash and she actually keeps getting more color! Not sure if that’s normal. She started with just one little spot on the base of her tail/back and now as you might be able to see, she has a few more spots.

Max and Princess are both EE/LO but I’m pretty sure they are from different mothers. I think Max inherited the red from Bunny because she’s like orangey red with black lacing. Princess oddly ended up like all black and very tiny comb???

Also idk if you can tell from the pics but they all ended up with blue legs except for Freddy
Do you think they could be hiding lacing like the EE parents or lavender like Jack or? I’m just mostly very curious.
