You probably don't have the spice cabinet problem I do.Not here.
Your sister inherited the sensible tastebuds.Oh, my.
... I would probably be more horrified, but my sister doesn't like it, either.
I hadn’t noticedThere was a typo in my last post and I just fixed it.
Bull. Nothing compares to fresh out of the garden and immediately cooked asparagus. There is no need to try to salvage asparagus. The absolutely worst asparagus is frozen asparagus with canned asparagus a close second.Slightly on the edge of going bad asparagus can be salvaged. Buying marked down asparagus is wise, as long as you use it quickly.
Buying it with no plan intended, knowing that it's old, and then letting it sit in the fridge until it goes bad is a horrible injustice to asparagus and a waste of money.
I need to organize ours too and the other cabinetsYou probably don't have the spice cabinet problem I do.
I'm going to organize that thing soon and I'll take a pic. I'm not exaggerating when I say I have a problem.
Then try to go shopping with her -- ask her if she knows what she's going to do with it, and if she doesn't know, then try not to let her buy it. Say that it will just go bad and be a waste. That’s what I keep telling her but she still does it all the time! Multiple bundles of it too!! She loves asparagus but never actually cooks it![]()
Not here, either. We keep an array of spices and seasonings in a drawer by the stove, and keep backups their own little box in the pantry. Pretty hard to lose things when they're contained. Not here.
Feed it to cows. Wait three weeks to make sure it doesn’t effect the taste of the meat. Then butcher.Bull. Nothing compares to fresh out of the garden and immediately cooked asparagus. Actually, both of my parents love the stuff.Your sister inherited the sensible tastebuds.
