I’ve decided next time she does it I’m going to try to at least cook it and use it and take charge since nobody else seems to and let’s it rot 😂🤷‍♀️
There you go! Somebody's gotta do it 😹
Fancy way of saying "chocolate"😎
🤢🤢🤢 those two words should never be in the same sentence
Buy two year old roots. Follow the package directions to plant them. Keep the bed weeded. Feed it annually. Do not rototill within 2' of the bed. Do not harvest any spears for the first two years. Once you begin harvesting, do not over harvest. Allow the plants to go to seed every year.

My main bed is at least 25 years old.
Wow! Awesome.
Sounds like I need to find a space Im willing to devote to asparagus for forever

MARE!
Bring her some brownies!
STAT

Exactly!!! Figure I will LOL same for cleaning the cabinets 😂🤣 and I scrubbed the entire stove down a couple months ago cause it was disgusting 😂🤮

Talking about growing asparagus reminded me. Has anyone else grown sprouts for their chickens? I accidentally bought whole kernel corn and no one would touch it so I’ve started sprouting it a few flats at a time. They go crazy for it. I’ll take some pics of the process tomorrow if anyone’s interested. Total of $11 invested and should be able to get 7-8 flats of sprouts out of it.
i did some sprouts intentionally for the finches when they hatched their first clutch and then i had feed waste sprout in the subaviary this summer.
