So I just put in 22 eggs 19 English Orpington, and 3 Maran X English Orpington, due to hatch Feb 17, 2014 from my own flock.
I just had Welsummers in the incubator, and English Orpingtons, and Marans X EOrpingtons hatch under the broodies, I got 4 Pure English 1 Splash, 1 Black, and 2 Blue, the other Orpingtons are 50% and Buff and Blue. The little Marans X E Orpingtons look just like Marans chicks.
I am building my flock of Orpingtons, so I will have English to sell this year and next.
I will also have Glod Laced Brahmas LF, Dark Brahmas LF, and Light Brahmas LF, for sale by next year, along with Welsummers and Cream Legbars .
