They only stayed close to her for a few days and then it was like who are these chicks? I don't know them so momma went back to the henhouse with the regular old gals since she started laying again.

My blue Orp, Dusty, dropped her baby like a hot potato at three weeks old. One day, she ignored him and paced up and down the fence where Suede is, the next day, when the chick was placed near her, she jumped on him with blood in her eye!
