BBS Orpingtons for Broody Hen-DUPED!

Attaching updated pics. They are now 8 mos old & all 3 are super sweet birds!
Buddy is HUGE & (thank God!) the nicest, calmest cockerel &/or rooster I've ever been around! Has never exhibited any human aggression whatsoever! Which is awesome because he'd no longer be part of our flock otherwise.
Took him a while to crow but he's pretty quiet after his morning announcements.
He's mastered tidbitting & his Romance Dance, but still working on understanding No means No, at times. Paid attention to our 1 yr old hens & let his sisters be initially, but been looking at them in ways they don't like these past few days & they're not having it!
Appears Cochin x Orpington cross is spot on. Buddy's legs are heavily feathered, but not as much as full Cochin. Jellybean falls in the middle, while Cookie only has 1-2 short ones on each foot.
Combs in the pullets are smaller than my hatchery BO's. & they have fuller, rounder bodies as well.

I found the 1st pullet eggs on Aug 19th, which put them at 25-26 weeks old.
Jellybean (blue) lays a dark brown, rounder shaped egg, much thicker shell than her sister's. Her egg is on far left.

Jellybean lays more often that Cookie, 4-5x/wk. Cookie lays 2- 3, maybe 4 on a good week.

Cookie's are a light cream color-2nd egg from left. I'm constantly trying to get calcium into her as shells are thin & she has also laid eggs without shells.

Eggs on the right belong to 2 of the Orpingtons & the one on far right is from our Production Blue (RIRxAustralorp). Jelly's eggs are smaller, but weigh more (53-61g). Cookie's (51-57g). For comparison, our BO's range from 54-64g depending on which hen. The PB is 63-71g.
