BBW with heterochromia

Do broad breasted whites sometimes have blue in their irises? I noticed it tonight when I was feeding my male and thought it was a little odd
Mine had kind of greenish hazel eyes.
I think it could be possible for them to have blue in their irises.

It's just one eye that has it. I can try tomorrow if it's not clear, I didn't want the flash to hurt him a lot so I only got a quick one

I checked, and it's definately color, not a cataract or anything bad like that

Looks like white patches with this picture. Tomorrow in sunlight will give a better picture. He's certainly a pretty turkey.

White turkeys hide all their other color genes. The presence of blue eyes in a white turkey indicates that they are black based (BB). White turkeys with brown eyes means they are bronze based (bb, b1b1, or bb1). White turkeys with green eyes would likely mean the presence of both a black and a bronze gene (Bb or Bb1).

Interesting 🤔.
