BC Marans: Is it a Male or Female?

He's my first Marans but he's won a place in my heart. I can put my hand down in the brooder or even in the yard when I'm watching the chicks play on warm days and he'll run as fast as he can, hop on, and sit on my lap talking to me. It's funny...he'll chirp a bit, then cock his head and look at me to see if I'm paying attention. Even if he outgrows being this tame I don't think I'll ever be able to part with him. He's definitely been a good ambassador for the breed...I plan to order more from a breeder this spring!

Definitely a boy. I had two FCM roos a few months ago. One attacked my son and scared him half to death. I'm trying again. I keep reading that they are not normally aggressive. I hope we just had two meanies.
