---------------------------------

I just put my first batch of this year into the incubator
14 Black Copper Marans eggs and 2 barnevelder eggs.

I'm sure I'll be adding to them, probably more barnies
maybe a few mottled java
maybe an LOP or two

I've had enough time off that I'm so excited to see little fuzzy butts again
in today, should hatch March 4th

Oh good! Hatching buddies!
It is so hard to wait 21 days. Imagine being the broody hen and having to wait with no distraction. amazing.

Mine are in a homemade incubator. I sat by it most of yesterday just staring at the lovely eggs. I know, I'm crazy....and find myself thinking of what eggs I want to get next, as I'm hearing the chicks that I just hatched peeping. I think I have a problem. ( a happy problem)

I even have my husband roped into this.

On Monday, he'll be setting in a Brinsea 3 EE and a couple of our backyard mix eggs for his classroom....at my suggestion.
