I've gotten most of what I'm looking for except......
A Breeding quality Pure black Silkie Pullet.

3 BCM pullets, or about a dozen eggs. LOVE the lavender, purple colored eggs, and the dark chocolate.

IF I have to go the hatchery route...... How's ideal hatcheries BCM quality? Or any other hatcheries with high quality birds? I already have an upcoming order with them so I could just add to it. But I'd prefer better quality.

Thanks again!

I've been eyeballing the listing on Ebay https://ebay.us/m/kqScvT. I'm waiting until Jan/Feb so the chicks will hatch Feb/March so please don't buy them all, lol.

The breeds are Silver Laced English Orpington, Lavender Ameraucana, Black Copper Marans, Cream Lebar, Crele Penedesenca and F2-F3 Hybrid Olive Egger.

Aside from the Silver Laced English Orpington, it has all the breeds I've been looking to get.

Beautiful!

Have you looked in your state/local poultry groups on Facebook? That's where I started and found numerous Silkie breeder pages where you can order eggs. The ones I've gone to are around $150/dozen or more because they are exhibition breeders. The problem is that they will be 50/50 male and female; however, I never have trouble selling any that I don't need/want.

As for those who sell sexed, I've tried to purchased grown birds that way, but haven't found one who would sell just a pullet. So I bought some pretty roosters too for a really good price. Maybe you'd find some in those poultry groups though.

That's impressive! I can't even aspire to those numbers, lol.
I didn't either. Trust me, it blew my mind as well when I went to add them all up. I couldn't keep up with orders, so I learned to refine the act of stagger hatching to every five days. That helped a lot!

I've tried that with no luck. And eggs are so iffy. I'd prefer to spend the same amount and get one bird that's exactly what I want.

I've been talking with Bobbi, she thinks she may have some chicks on Monday so that could be an option.

Do you by chance have what I'm looking for that you'd be willing to part with?
