I have 2 LGs and want to try a different one. What is the Suro? How is it compared to the LG? No movement at all : (
I came across it thru BYC. The Suro 20 is a bells and whistles bator (it's made by R-Com) it is digitally operated complete with Auto Pump to regulate temp and humidity and a fan. Instead of an egg turner the bator sits on a cradle the first 18 days, so your eggs are moved/turned. The best part is the price! It can be found for $249.00 (1/2 off reg. retail). I bought through Kemp's Koops but there was atleast one other business offering them at that price. There's a thread on BYC about the Suro 20 vs. Rcom that gave lots of good feedback on both. For me, the Suro price was the lure. It says it holds 24 chicken eggs but I can't imagine more than 16-18 Marans eggs. My BCM eggs were shipped (3 were broken) so that could be a factor. Who knows?

Thanks. I'll have to check out their websites. They sound much better than what I have
