I just bought a lot of eggs to hatch from ebay, two different sources. I really question the "fertility". I candled them at 10 days and very few show any signs of life. Ive been doing this a long time and I realize there can be many factors that effect hatchability etc, but you get what you pay for. Lessons learned. Even if you got to pay more for shipping or the eggs themselves, it would be worth it to buy from a reputable hatchery.

Welcome to BYC!

Another place you can find fertile eggs is right here on BYC. Once you have 20 posts, you can use the buy-sell-trade forum and do business with fellow members.

You could also check in with your state thread, maybe someone close by has fertile eggs for sale.

I hope you have some success with the eggs you bought!

Even better if you could find some close enough to drive to and carefully escort home without the PO slamming them for a touchdown.

The post office folks seem to be becoming more and more like the park rangers, "don't bother me, I am underpaid." It is/was this attitude that let Fed Ex, UPS, DHL etc. get away with the post offices job(s). Now they are stuck delivering 'Junk Mail' and have no future… none. The US postal system is a very sad establishment these days. I suppose they take out their dead end job frustrations on our packages that go through them, the few items that are not 'Junk Mail.'

The employees are not interested in their job and or work in the least, they just want more money for doing less. This is why they can not compete on price nor quality. If they would have had any real leadership in the postal system, there would not be a need for Fed Ex and crew(s). Losers employing more and other losers, I stay away from the post office any chance I have to do so. At some point when 'Junk Mail' figures out how to be delivered electronically, they will literally have nothing at all to do… oh, wait, too late, we already have SPAM.

Find anyway possible to avoid using the US mail.
