Yes, those snakes can cause trouble. I have had to do the same here with the poisonous ones that I am unable to relocate.

Welcome to BYC. Snakes will indeed eat chicks and eggs, but if they are excluded from the coop they are great at reducing the mouse population.

no they are not safe their is 2 more i have not killed yet

I got up yesterday morning and my geese were playing with one so I went to get my camera and wow the guinea had is all apart
