Yup, they're tiny! But it depends on the beads you choose to use. I chose the itty bitty beads. but there are bigger beads, and it would turn out the same but much larger.

you should start taking orders.... (sniff sniff...I smell college tuition paid for)

i wonder if these lil things we have at work may help with gluing your fingers together...they look like little finger condoms as long as you dont use the bigger ones they should not impede the ability to grasp the beads

I kinda am, kinda not. They take so long. If someone asks, I will, but I don't want to million people saying they all want a beaded chicken. So those who feel the need to ask can buy one.

"finger condoms," Oh my gosh, I just choked on my dinner I was laughing so hard. Nice description. What exactly is a finger condom used for?

LOL sorry.....finger condoms are used for a variety of things

if you work in the food industry and have a cut or band-aid you need to cover that area while you are handling food

same thing if you work in health care you need to cover wounds to stop the transmission of blood borne pathogens for the protection of you and the patients

i have also seen them used in a factory setting where the workers need to grasp small objects or dirty/oily objects like small screws or pins it just protects the tips of the finger

the finger condoms are small they only come up as far as the big knuckle, they roll on and off like a condom. they are available in most drug stores, wal-mart that sort of thing (and if you go in and talk to the pharmacist they SHOULD know exactly what you are requesting if you ask for finger condoms...lol)

Moody, there is no way you can charge just ten bucks for those!! An entire day's work, intricate beading and keen eyesight some of us don't even have anymore without reading glasses, lol!!! Your supplies cost that much..make it worth your while kiddo and bump your price to at least $25.00 ...check ETSY.com..nothing like that would sell for $10.00. They are beautiful and collectible and breed specific, you will have no trouble selling them for $25.00 and then you might be able to put some money toward the outrageous book prices I know you are paying. Good luck, you do awesome work

Aw, thanks! Well, I thought $20 was pusing it. I saw some sold at a poultry show for $5; they were less intricate, but still very nicely made. So I didn't want to overprice things. I have intentions on making a few sculptural pieces that I'd sell for a lot more... but I didn't think these little guys were worth that much.
