I think getting to a Vet is a good idea too. Better have them look at it, measure it, and get a game plan on what to do. She's an older girl, and unfortunately these growths happen. Good luck!

Our large animal vet will be here tomorrow to see the cattle, I'll have her take a look see at my girl. I'll update then.

Great news, no biopsy needed! She said it's a papilloma. Could even fall off.
She grabbed it and inspected the underside even..made me about puke! Didn't seem to bother chloe' in the slightest. She also said she can take it off for a small fee. Hopefully a week from now.

Great!! I am glad you decided to have it taken off. The dog will look a whole lot better without it and besides, sometimes these things itch and in addition by taking it off there will be no chance of it changing into something else. That particular kind of wart may not, but some do. Thank you for letting us know. I am sure I am not the only one who is curious.

Hi all,
It's been a sad five long days around the farm. Last Thursday I lost my Chloe dog.
What a shock! I knew she wasn't feeling well but nothing we haven't dealt with before. A little diareah. She was eating and drinking norm. She literally curled up next to me and died. RIP my love

I am so very sorry!! What a terrible shock that must have been. Do you have any idea what on earth happened?

Thanks Cassie.
She was 13 and has had acl issues for years, she's been on meds for arthritis for years. Which leads me to think about it being her liver shut down. She had liver checks every 6 mo. Due to the meds.
But, ultimately it must have been her "Time". She didn't suffer that I was aware of. So I thank God for that!
