Beagles after the chickens!

i have a beagle that i am not sure of. fred likes to sniff alot so i put him up in a differant room when i let the chicks out in the house. he does not like it when we go in to the room where the chicks are,but then again he starts howling when i go to pay for gas!!! so i just dont think it is a wise ideato let him around them. i like dogs but do what you have to to protect your stock

after talking with my husband we have decided to get rid of all of our female beagles. The males alway stay in the pin. However I get to keep one of the 6 puppies to see if I can get him to Love Chickens
