Beak disease?

Just noticed this today and i thought it was something stuck on her beak but it is very hard. Ive been waiting 30 weeks for her to start laying and she squated today so losing her would really suck.

It is hard to know exactly what that could be on her beak, possibly an injury or peck wound, I can’t tell. I would try moistening it with some plain neosporin ointment or coconut oil to see if it softens and comes off. Is her nostril open on that side where she can breathe okay?

This is the first time ive seen something like this but i hope its nothing too bad. It looks like she can breathe not too sure ill have to take another look tomorrow

Looked like a bruise or blood blister to me. Probably got pecked or shook her head and hit her beak on something. Glad it’s gone!
