Beak injury

My 16 wk BCM had a lid fall down on her beak nasal area. She had a drop or two of blood. She won't eat and is quiet and lethargic. There seems to be swelling at top of beak . Any suggestions on how I can help her?

Also, what can you give a chicken for pain?

It could possibly be an infection. I would hold off on pain meds until you know what’s going on. Can you post some pictures? What does the inside of her beak look and smell like?

The break isn't broke. There is swelling above Nasal passages. She started moving and eating. So maybe she'll be fine. Thanks for your reopens!

Just keep watch for infection and might have to soften the food for her for a bit. Hard food might be causing more pain. And yes there's pain relievers you can use.
