Is this normal? Happen frequently? What should I do? Seems to be eating and drinking. Just spends a lot more time at the feeder.

Hold up to the light and look at where the quick is in the beak. Use some toenail clippers and snip it off a short distance from the quick. Then can clip the corners to shap. I have a hen who's top beak grows too fast. Takes me three snips.

Alternatively, you can use a nail file and file it to shape. My hen hated this.

The chick's beak needs to be trimed, I use a dremel tool to do it with, it files down the beak and shapes it nicely you can buy thease at a hardware store like the home depot, just be carefull to open the chick's beak and keep your finger inside it's mouth covering the opening to the inside of her mouth so that you protect her tounge from getting snipped of by the dremel tool. I can send you a video of how I do it if needed.
