beak trimming?

I ordered some silver seabrights this spring. One had a crooked beak, I figured that it would work itself out. However after several weeks the health of the bird went south and I ended up culling it. My plan was to hopefully breed these birds but I would have never bred one with a disfunction like that.

thanks guys! and I am thinking about cutting off our roosters spurs... just not sure how...how do you cut a roosters spurs?
I use my Dremal Tool set. Must use the wood cutting blade because the ones for metal get too hot. Using the aforementioned tool will do a wonderful job and will cauterize the cut immediately, producing NO bleeding. I smear a bit of Vaseline on them and they are good to go.
