Beak trimming

Unfortunately, my leghorn has been debeaked when she was young. She now has severe underbite to the point I feel it limits her ability to eat. I feel I should sand down the lower part of her beak sp she can eat better.

I have no clue; I know it can be done but not sure on what's best in this scenario. I just wanted to offer to you and your poor baby.

I would think she would use the bottom part of her beak as a scooper, but hard to say without pic.
