What is cross beak exactly?

Cross beak is when the lower and upper beak are not aligned, It is usually genetic.

Look up cross beak and see if that's what she has.

Cross beak should not be painful. If she does have cross beak you can trim the beak some. It does make it harder for them to eat and drink but she should be ok. I have never experienced cross beak before.

Thanks so much for your help. I'll research it now. The best way to describe it is it looks like the bottom of beak is slightly longer
