BEAKERS...update!!!!!

Beakers and her best friend Willow finally got their own house, (with a few new roommates)...It is exactly what they deserve, (after all...they are PRINCESSES)!!! It comes with a mulch moat, and a covered run...
It took about a week to build (rain). About 95% of everything come from trash, including the house. I had to buy the tarp, chicken wire, and screws. But they are loving all the room!!!!!!!!

The whole top is chicken wire, and all the windows and holes are covered with chicken wire. Both doors have latches and the slide is chicken wired off at the top!! Plus it’s inside a covered run!!! No problem so far

Chicken wire keeps chickens in. It won't protect from predators like raccoons and big dogs. A raccoon can shred chicken wire like paper.

What about ventilation? If that castle is closed up, where does fresh air come from?

Those racoons killed several of my chickens, they are very strong and will tear apart just about anything to get to them. I killed it, that is the only way to get rid or he'll be back for more. I'm 5'4 and holding by tail to my feet is how big it was. You should use hardware cloth, the one with small holes.

The coop is inside a covered run, I’ve had no problems with predators
