Bear Cub in Grocery Store

I love how the guy just walked up behind the cub and picked it up. If that happened here, they would evacuate the store, then Fish and Wildlife would have to come and tranquilize the bear, probably causing serious injury when it fell off the produce display. The poor cub would then be perp-walked out to the waiting truck. I agree it's unfortunate that such a young cub was put out to fend for itself, but I'm impressed by the matter-of-fact, just-another-day-at-the-IGA attitude.

I'm surprised at how small this cub is for a fall cub. I think it might have been fending on its own for awhile or is a part of a large family. Maybe mom had quads and couldn't keep up with them all.
