I’ve noticed two spots of bear poop near the coop. More towards the woods but still near the coop. One was from probably days ago and I’ve noticed another. I know it’s a young bear I believe. We also had our bird feeder ripped off the fence (there was no bird feed). The coop has many locks and I’m not worried about it getting in. We also have a rooster who will get the entire flock to be loud so we will know if something is happening before it can do anything. How do you guys get rid of bears?

No bear issues around me but from what I've read on BYC people use hot wires...electric fences.

Pics of your coop?

To the left near the dark grey fence is the main gate to get into the area. And then there’s a coop and run door. Sorry it’s dark rn so I’m going through my phone to see what pictures I have.

No amount of locks on doors will keep a bear out.

Invest in some shocking power.
