Hi I typically feed my chickens whole oats from the feed store, I give my horses a ration of them as well, anyway I found a supplier that has a great deal on bearded oats, I know that bearded oats can be harmful to horses and cattle because the " beard" can get caught in their throat and cause choke or abscesses. Is this the same for chickens or are they alright with bearded oats? Tried to google it with no help found. Hoping to find an answer here! Thanks!
