Beardless easter egger?

to answer your question, EEs can come beardless, muffles or with them. THey can come in any color, shape etc... so long as they carry some form of the blue egg gene. This girl could be a cross, which all EEs are... or she could be a brown leghorn. Lets wait and see as she matures.

There is no standard for EE. They generally have certain traits but they can vary a lot. They can lay any color egg too. So your girl could very well be an EE, she does have a very common EE color. But they can be any color, have any color legs(though willow seems to be most common), have a beard and/or muffs or be beardless/no muffs, have a single or pea comb and lay any color egg.

It's definitely a pullet and probably not an Easter egger. Looks like a Welsummer or brown Leghorn to me. I'm undecided if the earlobes are truly white or if the skin there is just pale because she's young. If those earlobes are really white, then brown Leghorn for sure.

The earlobes are pretty white.

Thank you for all the responses! Helpful as now I feel more comfortable asking the breeder. Guess I'll wait until she starts laying and hope for a colored egg

Agreed, she resembles brown leghorn more than an EE. (leg, earlobe color) Or she could be a mix. I had some Rose Comb Dark Leghorn birds that looked very similar. Of course, their eggs were chalk white. When crossed with my avatar EE roo, the pullets carried the partridge feathering, and white earlobes forward, they had slate legs, and laid blue eggs. Lovely birds! Their genes still run strong in my gene pool.

Yep, I have to agree with the consensus. This is a brown leghorn, pullet, and should give you a bounty of white eggs when she starts laying.

Brown Leghorn

Color pattern is correct, has yellow legs, white earlobes, and flight personality. All points to the above.
