Bears Bears and more Bears

I use to live in Weimar, across the river from you. So I know what you are taking about. What I found that works is barb wire. I ran barb wire as my hot wire. As someone mentioned, the round wire that comes with the charger doesn't faze the bear. But the spikes on the barb wire cuts though the hair and touches the skin. Plus, my son souped up my charger, so when a bear touched the fence, you could hear it yelp for a mile. Even so, one would get in the yard every once in awhile. Instead of 10 or more per year with the round wire, it dropped to 1 every other year with the barb wire. You might try contacting [email protected] for a trapper or a permit if you are up to taking care of them with Mr. Smith & Mr. Wesson. The latter I find works great, plus that cuts down your meat bill.

I will stick with what works, higher the joule the harder it will shock.
