bears, hawks, raccoons, etc.

Electric fencing and 1/2 in hardware cloth have kept my birds safe for nearly three years. I’ve only lost two to hawks and one escaped the electric fence and was killed by some animal, I don’t know what. Never had a night raid, I’m happy to say. A well built coop with no holes larger than 1/2 inch, trees, bushes, bramble, or other structures built specifically for protection from hawks are other methods that I use to keep my flock safe.

ahh i have grizzlys and black bears here not to mention coyote's, raccoons, hawks, eagles, mountain lions etc. the list goes on...

Yes, we have all those predators too. A lot of foxes and coyotes especially. The only one who has presented a problem has been the bears. I think my new dog is helping this year. He's a big Husky and is very protective. He goes out and chases pests away at night. He's a good boy.

yes my dog would be like that too, although we gave her away. she was always a very motherly character. even when i caught a baby bunny she was like its mom. althought she would catch the pests and kill them and or eat them...:D
