Beat up hens?

A chick saddle sounds cool! But I think I will just let her heal and grow her feathers on her own. The other hens are not pecking her. I will take the roo out of the cage and put him elsewhere if I think he is getting too rough again. He will not be going back in for a while though. I want the hens to get the feathers back before winter.
I think I am also goign to keep Sunshine's spurs cut very short and blunt. That might help.
Thanks for the ideas!! I just wish roos were not so rough.
