Oh, he is beautiful! My remaining roo is a black EE just like yours. (I'm going to try to keep him) I just found a lady, using freecycle.org, who took 2 of my roosters as pets for her family. I did have another response to my ad from a lady who has a daughter in 4H who would have also taken my roos. Maybe some ideas for you... Hope you find someone to take him! Good luck!

Go veggie~ Those are some great ideas. Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't had time to put posters up at the local feed stores yet either.

Wegotchickens~No nibbles just yet, but I haven't been trying to hard either. Time to kick it into gear. He's so cute and has those soft new feathers. Wish I could keep him, but I have Napoleon (SLW), the little black Ameraucana, & my dd is wants to keep the BO one that we hatched. It's just to many!!!!!

I already have Napoleon (SLW Roo) seperated from my laying flock b/c he was working his way down the line tearing the girls up.

If dh had his way he'd make me get rid of all the roos. He thinks 1 is to many.

I had ordered all EE pullets, b/c I wanted to add some more green egg layers to the flock, but ended up w/ this little guy in the order.

He's still available. Any takers????????

My DH agrees with yours, but I really want to keep the wellie roo. Unfortunately, I think DD's silkie is also a roo...
And I think I have a budding mille fleur d'uccle roo, too. Just realized that yesterday!

This beautiful boy is still available. I just found out that our local swap doesn't meet this month, so I guess I'll make up some posters to post at the local feed stores.

OMG! Your EE roo looks just like mine! That is just too awesome! And a real beauty to be sure!
I love "Mister" and would not part with him but if I didn't have him I would be darn busy trying to get yours!
