Beautiful Emerald green & Black Emu egg for Hatching or Crafts

Yes!

Somebody share some hatching info on them and any other info for that matter.

Hey is there an Emu thread on BYC?

Hi Guys, yes you can incubate them in a styro bator, I have 2 in a hovabator now. I hand turn them 3 times a day or when ever I walk past... hehe. Incubation temps are around 97 degrees and humidity 33-40 up until 3 days before hatch, stop turning then up to 50. Takes 45-54 days typically. Yep, their is a hatching thread for Emu around here some where........

I use to carve the eggs at one time.... haven't had the time in a few years... but they are very pretty.

OMG I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do they get lonesome if you only hatch out one chick at a time? This is so tempting. I get over to Orange Park, FL twice a week to take my dd to class
