South Georgia / North Florida : Bonded, 4.5 month old, wonderful personality - please help! Dad was a legbar and mom was a polish - they took after dad with shining gold on their shoulders - beautiful birds and used to free ranging .Please call 443-465-5269 if interested in adopting - I'm happy to help transport for the right home .

Hi! I was told the father was a legbar, but I did not see him to know his color for certain. Here are a couple pictures from a month ago - they have grown more and one in particular keeps getting more golden on his head and wings .If anyone has a spacious free range home for them as a pair I'd be so grateful. I was hoping they would be hens, and I can't have any more roos where I live [IMG] [IMG]

well the characteristic Im after is blue eggs. If their father is a cream legbar (which is a different breed) then they should both carry one gene for blue eggs.
