Well, mostly everyone is thinking about the males and their long colorful trains, but what about the peahens??!!!!! Why don't we get some peahen pics put there?!

How old are your peahens? They are really pretty!

I don't know if you are asking Zazouse or me but I will go ahead and say that Damsel is 4 and Xena is 2. My other peahens are:

Ice - Blackshoulder from the zoo. Since she is from the zoo I don't know her exact age but I think she is 4. Here she is on her nest currently. She is on four eggs.


Snow White - White. She is two and her sister is Xena.


Shyanne - Spalding White. Also two.

I was trying to find a peafowl breeder website that had pretty photos of purple black shoulders... Most of them only have purples or purple black shoulder pieds...Few seem to really have just purple black shoulders or at least they don't show photos of them.
