Beautiful rooster

Kind of looks like a Golden Lakenvelder rooster

had to laugh then . Golden lakenvelder is non existant. The breed you are looking for is vorwek. The lakenvelder was based on the vorwek

Im afraid thats not a recognized breed so it dosent really exist. I could make a random chicken that breeds true and tell everyone its a purebred breed

if you would read what Ideal said about it, it is a little known variety of the breed. It might not be recognized by the American Standred of Prefection, but it is in fact a breed and it is in fact what that rooster looks like.

Or what MyPetChicken said about it

Just look at vorwek first. And if it is not recognised it is not a colour of the breed. In the same way you dont have pyle brahmas or a chamois sebright yet you still see them. Therefore it may breed true people may give it a name and as i said i could breed a colour which breeds true and has a name but is still non existant.

I did look at that breed and the rooster dosen't really match the color or the one in the picture. Yes i know it is not a BREED but it is a type of chicken that happens to look like that rooster pictured.

After doing some research the " golden lakenvelder " is an incorrect name given to the vorwek mainly in north america. Therefore the golden lakenvelder does not exist. The vorwek does however. This is why the golden lakenvelder is not recognized. It is already a breed. - the vorwek

Ok whatever, i never heard it called that before and i was simply trying to help this person out. It is listened in a few hatcheries as golden lakenvelder, i didn't know it was a nick name. But still thats is what this rooster looks like.
