Hello! Thank you for welcoming me! I am excited to be here! Growing up, my family & I raised chickens, ducks , a goose, and pigeons. I myself especially love chickens! When I moved out of state with my future husband, we did not have chickens. We just moved again to another state, Wyoming and plan on getting chickens pretty soon, as soon as we find property. I've already decided how I want my chicken yard to look like
We may also get a few other types of livestock. It won't be huge, possibly just a small hobby farm. This will be a first for my husband having chickens to raise. Luckily we have a couple local farms where we can get fresh chicken eggs. We never buy eggs from the store. I look forward to learning some new things on raising chickens, especially making sure they stay warm in the winter. It can get pretty cold here. I have read not to use heat lamps, which I figure those wouldn't be a good idea anyway. You all have a great day!!
