what kind of bedding does everyone prefer or use?

Pine shavings are really good for bedding.what type of weather do you get where your located?would it be for in the coop or the run?

I use straw. It’s cheap and great for deep litter. It composts the best too.

I use hay it works well as straw. this is also a good suggestion.

I use shavings in the coop and sand in the run. All very clean. I'm an RN, I have my opinions...I also don't compost my dirty shavings, I send it out with the garbage. I don't have a fly problem because of this. I clean my coop weekly. I own 6 chickens.

I only compost because I live on a farm XD

I use pine shavings I really like them! its been raining a lot but normally it is hot in the summer! it is for in the coop. I have dirt for the run. I clean my coop every week inside and out!

I have mine this way too, It seems to be very clean! I do the same I send it with the garbage.

I collect dry leaves and grass and store them. Usually I collect 3-4 pickup truck loads of bagged dry leaves for the winter. However, this year was wet and I am going to have to buy bedding https://www.bigr.com/farm-ranch/pestell-3-in-1-animal-bedding/231724.html
I have 9 turkeys and 60+ chickens in 4 coops.
