Bedding for my girls

I picked up arm & hammer essentials 100% corn fiber cat litter to use in the brooder box. When I opened it up it has a light scent to it. You think its ok to use? I'm concerned about if they eat it, which they will likely do. Thanks!

Ewww. If it smells.. I would steer clear! (Of course, I'm like that about MY stuff! Maybe some else can be more factual.

No. It truly says 100% corn fibers. I used it. They were fine.

Chickens have very sensitive respiratory tracts. A heavy perfume odor might irritate their lungs. This is just my opinion!
