I have roll out nest boxes based off of Pops rollout nest box design. Inside are the nest pads he recommends with directional "fingers" so the eggs will actually roll. When soiled I pull out, shake off or wash off and return to the box.
When someone goes broody I usually prop a second pad in the back of the nestbox to keep eggs from rolling and sometimes add straw during winter hatches.
