Bedding help

so I have 2 geese and 9 ducks and I awash wondering what you guys use as bedding because he have a large aviary that they live in and it just gets soooo muddy. Is it the waterers they are just gallon buckets. There is also a pond in the pen. Thank you ahead of time.

Some use pea gravel with sand over, in water areas I have round river rock with landscaping material under. It's really hard to keep up with the muck they create but maybe try a few of these recs and see which one works the best. I use buckets for water too and it is messy. I also use heated bucket and place a board over half to keep the splashing down some.
