Bedding in duck house?

I have sand in the coop and in the “nesting” area it has pine shavings on top. My ducks love it! And it’s very easy to clean.

I scoop the sand like a litter box and the eggs come out very clean (compared to pine shavings on dirt at least) being laid on shavings and sand.

I rake out the shavings as needed, no specific time.... Sometimes ducks sleep in there and make poo piles, sometimes just lay the eggs and sleep on the sand. It’s also really easy to spot clean the shavings when they do spend a lot of time in there. Also, after three months I haven’t had to add more sand! It’s getting a little thin, so I probably will be adding some soon but I am very pleased!

I would like a screenshot pls. Thank you
I am also attaching my own pic. I have got 3 sides done and deciding what to do with the back opening. The playhouse will be attached to the pallet with L brackets. The second pic is just from an image search (not my pic).
Hoping to get everything done this weekend to have a move day by Monday at the latest! :ya

What kind of sand do you use?

Unfortunately, the chickens have already taken care of most of the grass in the run. Once everything is settled, I will let the ducks free range in the yard when I can.
