Bedding in Feeder

Hi all! I'm new here and here is my first question. Does anybody have any good ideas for preventing the chicks from kicking up their bedding into the feeder. They are constantly filling up the feeder with bedding making it difficult for them to find their food!

You can always try hanging the feeder and the waterer...

For tiny chicks I put the feeders and waterers up on bricks so they can climb up to them (I leave a brick edge for them to stand on). They hop right on up.

I used a ceramic bowl. Turned it upside down in the brooder and then put the feeder on top of the upside down bowl. I wouldn't use a plastic bowl, it should be heavy so the chicks can't bump it over.
