What's the best thing to use has bedding in my coop? It seems like every time I put something in the coop the kick it to the nesting boxes. Also, do anybody put any sort of bedding in the run? Whats the best thing to clean with?

I use wood shavings, it’s cozy in the coop, I don’t use anything in the run but sometimes I use hay in my yard because it gets muddy in the rainy seasons.

My run is really wet right now bc it's been raining nonstop here lately.

How about pine needles? The flock is going out tomorrow and I’ve got bales of pine needles I could put to good use, if okay!

Hmm, think I'll use the almost full bale of pine shavings and the needles!

DLM = Deep Litter Method. You can search the forums and articles for information on it - there's a LOT!
