just saw this posted on CL:
Well, we have been plaining again, and we have 3 medium bags of shavings we would like to give to anyone interested

The ducks are 3+ months old, would pine/cedar shavings work to bed them in as it is getting colder here?

My other option is to rake the pine straw in the back yard, which is what I'm planning, but if somebody has shavings for free that would be useful, I'll snag those too.

No cedar! It's bad for them. Everything else is fine.
