Does anyone know anytihng about beef food pellets?? I was at a local flea market and asked the lady what she feed her ducks (the ducks were very nice) and she said she feed them beef pellets .I have never heard of this and wondered if anyone on BYC knew. Thanks for any help !!

I must of mis-understood the lady of what she feed her ducks, going back this weekend and going to write it down !!what ever she feeds her ducks they sure were healthy looking !!! she said it was around 6 bucks for 50 pounds of that feed.

I suspect your right. I feed my deer a 38% protein pellet in the evenngs. It is non medicated, no animal products and designed for top dressing (dump on top of regular feed to up the protein level) of lactating dariy cattle. My hens love the stuff. The deer eat most of it but the hens sure clean up whats left! $9 for 50 pounds is dirt cheap though...

Its a pelleted food made for beef "cows".
You can get from a 14% Beef Conditioner Pellet to a 42% Start to Finish Dairy Beef Supplement at the mill I go to..
