Hello everyone!
I just got three geese (Medusa, Lyric and Zephyr). They're 8 weeks old. I'm worried that they will only like me and my family they will see everyday, and be aggressive to my dad who works away and typically is only home every few months. Is there a way to make sure they at the very least tolerate him? Or will they need to be locked up when he's working in the yard?

Mine aren't aggressive. They move away from everyone. The only time they show some sign of standing their ground is during breeding season, and even than they move away. I don't over handle mine so they aren't human imprinted which I think helps. Breeds help too. I think knobbed breeds like Chinese are a bit more forward.

I want to handle mine and be friends with them. The geese are a mix of sebastopol, toulouse and Chinese. They don't seem too aggressive, but I guess if they are mean to him I can get a large dog crate for them while he works? Obviously with food and water in it

Are you making them a pen? A place to be put away?

They have a pen to live in with my LSG dog and chickens, but my dad also has some stuff in there. I don't know what he really needs to be in there for. Usually when he's working in the yard I'm not home because of work
