Good morning! I have a 16 week old turkey poult that seems "off". Yesterday afternoon it was standing in a pool of water, eyes closed, just standing for over 30 minutes. It was not hot yesterday, maybe 75°F.
Today, I came out to feed my cross beak chick, and, like usual, it came over to try and get her food. The thing is, she wasn't going after the dropped pieces like normal. When I tried to give him some off my finger, he was missing the food. Not even close. I took a video (linked here https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZpiAYLh1ZRftNFD89). Around 106 you can see what he was doing. It seems now after having eaten some, he's able to go after food and is much more accurate. Is there anything that could account for this? Low blood sugar?
I also had a younger poult die about 10 days ago while on vacation. We were thinking FTT. Ihatched and am raising them for a friend. I've never had turkeys before but have had chickens for 6+ years. I know I have MD and AL in my flock. Thrower of the eggs knew this and still asked me to raise them. Please let me know your thoughts .

Marek's should not be an issue as turkeys get a different form of it than do chickens. They make the Marek's vaccine for chickens from turkeys.

Avian Leukosis is mainly a chicken disease but can affect turkeys.

Failure to thrive is a broad cover all that can be caused by many different issues.

The lethargy can be caused by many different issues among which is coccidiosis.

Turkey poults should not be brooded with chicks. They imprint very easily which can lead to a multitude of problems when they are adults and don't understand that there is a difference between them and chickens.

You make no mention of what you fed the poults. Poults need a high protein turkey or game bird starter feed for the first 6 to 8 weeks.

You also do not say what you are feeding it now. Chicken layer feed is never an acceptable feed for young poults and never a good idea at any age for male turkeys. The high calcium content can cause kidney damage.

You do not mention whether or not you are feeding any supplements or treats. Garlic for instance is an allium. Alliums are known to be toxic to poultry. The main result from the toxin is anemia.
