BEEKEEPING THREAD AND HELP

Hi everybody!
We are looking into starting beekeeping in our yard! We would love some mentoring in beekeeping from more experienced folks. Anyone new to beekeeping or looking into starting is welcome to post questions and read along with the thread! We have plenty of room in our yard for at least 3 beehives. We think we want Italian honeybees. Does anyone have experience with this particular species? Thank you everyone for your help!
